Gymnathlon coaching career

We firmly believe in the concept of Gymnathlon courses and we are aware that the most crucial element of the courses are our coaches. For this reason we select our coaches carefully and train them on an ongoing basis. Each coach is required to participate in an introductory training course and subsequent training, during which they enhance thier qualification. The content of the training also involves understanding of Gymanthlon methodology both from the theoretical as well as practical point of view. Every coach has the opportunity to deepen his experience, expand his qualifications and move to a higher coaching position.


Gymnathlon coach position

Job content

You lead training alongside the head coach, who has the main say, but you work together as a coordinated team. You help with the organization of the exercises, encourage, correct and praise children. You contribute to ensuring that the children get only the best experiences from the training! Great start to a career in Gymnathlon :)

Requirements

  • Very good level of English is required!! Maltese language is an asset.
  • Positive attitude towards children and sports.
  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Completion of entry training (online).
  • Clean criminal record.

Benefits

  • Compensation EUR 13/ training lesson (60 min).
  • Participation in a dynamically developing project.
  • Practical experience with up to 200 children's games and exercises.
  • Study practice.
  • Good feeling from meaningful work.
  • Possibility of promotion to the position of a Head Coach (if conditions are met).

Job content

Do you know who is the most important in Gymnathlon? Yes, it's you! The head coach, who leads the class, conducts and tries to transfer as many positive emotions as possible to the children. You will have a partner (assistant) with you, but the main responsibility is yours. For this you will be rewarded with joy in children's eyes and praise from moms and dads who have never seen their child so excited ;) You will also be asked to communicate activiely with parents and do some administrative work.

Requirements

  • An athlete in body and soul.
  • Very good level of English is required!! Maltese language is an asset.
  • A positive attitude towards children and an interest in motivating them to do sports.
  • Experience with leading children.
  • Coaching education is an asset.
  • Communication and organizational skills.
  • Completion of initial training (online) + follow-up training (face-to-face during the weekend in September).
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Clean criminal record.

  • Min. 1 year of work in Gymnathlon in the position of Head Coach.
  • High-quality implementation of courses, fulfillment of administration and communication with parents.

  • Completion of all Gymnathlon trainings.
  • Management of min. 4 courses in 2 different programs.
  • Attendance of Gymnathlon camps.
  • Regular participation in Gymnathlon events.
  • Regular participation in SportAnalytik events.
  • Work as self-employed.
  • Presentation of the certificate of completion of the first aid course.
