How does Gymnathlon
training take place?

Dear parents, whether your child is a beginner athlete or an advanced sportsperson, our goal is for them to take only the best experiences from each Gymnathlon training! 🥰 Therefore, we will introduce you to the training process to help you properly motivate your athlete and prepare them as best as possible for what lies ahead.

We understand that for many children, the introductory Gymnathlon training is their first organized sports experience, and it is completely understandable if you have concerns about whether your little athlete is ready for it. However, our coaches will do their best to ensure that all children leave the session excited. 🤩

Before the training

We will sit in a circle with all the children, greet each other, and introduce ourselves. We will also introduce our mascot, Max the monkey 🐵, who will watch over the children and help motivate them during each training session. He is a great friend and loves to play sports with the kids! Throughout the Junior, Sportmix, and Active courses, Max will circulate among the children each week and collect sports experiences in his notebook 📗, which we will share at the beginning of each training session. In the Baby course, he will mainly encourage and cheer the children on.

Training Process

After the initial greeting and sharing of sports experiences from the past week, it's time to dive into the training… we will shout our team cheer, “Go sports” 🗣️ and let's get started! The first warm-up game will immediately draw the children into the training excitement, which we will maintain throughout the session with playful, varied, and fun exercises.

End of the Training

At the end, we will sit in a circle again, catch our breath, and summarize today's training. Finally, it's time for a well-deserved reward – we will give the children their activity plan 🗺️, where they can stick their first sticker 👍. This will be our regular closing ritual. We’ll say goodbye, give high-fives, and look forward to the next time! 👋
